Each year I look forward to photographing and capturing the Christmas Open House at Mill Street Florist in Manotick.  From the moment you walk up the steps onto the front porch one is overcome with the  beauty and artistic originality created.  This feeling never leaves you as you wander inside with Christmas music, unique vignettes throughout and seasonal smells and tidbits of Christmas goodies.

I always say I am NOT going to purchase anything but it is like being in a candy store.  You feel successful if you’ve only eaten one or two tantalizing bits.  Once again I walked out happy with the first of this Christmasses’ treasures that will join the sentimental favorites of the past .
